Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a unique and extraordinary hotel located in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, near to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Designed in a horseshoe style, inspired by a traditional African kraal, the hotel covers 18 hectares of grounds with four savannas that house over 200 animals and birds as well as one of the largest collections of African art in the States. With a grand lobby that brings an authentic touch of Africa to Florida, the hotel's location provides guests with easy access to all the area's top attractions while offering a one-of-a-kind and immersive experience. The hotel features 972 African themed rooms, villas and suites, sharing amenities such as pools, dining and recreation with sister properties. The hotel's top suite is the Royal Asante Suite, which boasts over 195 square metres of living space and features a private balcony with breathtaking views of the savanna. The hotel’s Kilimanjaro Club provides club room guests with exclusive access to a private lounge, complimentary breakfast, and evening hors d'oeuvres. 

Guests can enjoy various activities both on-site and nearby, including enjoying the free form, 1,022 square metre Uzima pool with whirlpool spas, a kid’s pool and a handy pool bar nearby for keeping refreshed; viewing the animals on the savanna; taking part in African-inspired programmes including live music and exploring the hotel's many themed areas. The hotel also offers access to the Grand Floridian Spa and a fitness centre, equipped with Life Fitness and Cybex equipment and free weights and offering a steam room and a sauna. There are several restaurants, lounges, and bars on the property, including the signature restaurant Jiko - The Cooking Place, which offers African-inspired cuisine, the Boma - Flavors of Africa buffet, and the Victoria Falls Lounge, which offers a variety of cocktails and light bites.
