Constance Le Prince Maurice

Since it opened in 1998, Prince Maurice has been a firm favourite for premium travellers to Mauritius. Set in a 150-acre (60-hectares) private peninsula in the northeast of the country, the resort sits betwixt a lake and lagoon. The resort offers 89 suites and villas – including 64 Junior Suites at 70 square metres in area, nine Beach Front Villas with their own swimming pools at 130 square metres and a Princely Villa at an enormous 350 square metres! Guests can expect lashings of luxury with marble bathrooms and elegance. Prince Maurice has two 18-hole championship golf courses – Legend and Links – which it shares with its sister property Belle Mare Plage.

The resort boasts the most extensive wine cellar in the Indian Ocean – complete with 25,000 bottles. At 175 square metres – guests can lose themselves in an oenophilic-dream! There are three restaurants - The Archipel and Beach Deck Restaurant, the Asian Restaurant and Le Barachois. The latter is the only floating restaurant in the country. The Constance Spa uses Sisley products – for massages and body treatments. It also hosts a heated swimming pool, steam room, spa, cold plunge pool, hairdresser and mani/pedi salon. The fitness centre is filled with cardio and training equipment. The resort has two main swimming pools, children’s club, table tennis and tennis. The beach is a delightful place to sun-worship – but there are also water sports aplenty – from kayaks to snorkelling and sailing to Scuba diving.
