Cape Lodge

Discover Cape Lodge, a boutique country house hotel and restaurant in the heart of Margaret River, three hours’ drive from the city. This exclusive estate, with its own vineyard, boasts 22 rooms for couples. Garden Wing rooms feature courtyards that invite the inside in. They contain king-size or twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Lakeside rooms are large, light, and airy and feature king-size, luxury bathrooms with separate spacious walk-in showers and baths with underfloor heating and a minibar. Larger groups can rent the private residence with three acres of expansive lawns and a secluded lake. Inside are four bedrooms, sleeping up to ten, three bathrooms, an open-plan lounge, dining, and an entertaining area with a fully equipped kitchen and open fireplace, along with polished floorboards. In all the rooms is a surround-sound flat-screen Apple television and DVD player for entertainment. Guests can make full use of the outdoor entertaining area with barbecue and dining facilities.

In addition to being a hotel, it doubles as a cooking school with hands-on classes from top chefs. With such a reputation, the restaurant does not disappoint. The Lakeside Restaurant and Wine Lodge showcase Margaret River’s produce. Guests can enjoy a pamper in the spa or the privacy of their room. Select Swedish or Huna massages, full-body facials, or a sheer indulgence aromatherapy treatment. Cape Lodge Estate vineyard was planted in 1998 and has grown to eight acres. Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz wines produced here can be sampled by guests. Located between Margaret River, Dunsborough, and Yallingup, Cape Lodge gives plenty of opportunities to engage with the surrounding wine country. Guests can even fly in and land at the helicopter landing pad.
