COMO Metropolitan Bangkok is located in the heart of Sathorn’s Central Business District between the river and Sukhumvit District, close to both the BTS SkyTrain and MRT train stations and just a ten-minute walk away from the Silom shopping complex. With 169 contemporary rooms and suites, ranging in size from a cosy 29 square metres for the entry level City Rooms to a more generous 240 square metres for the two bedroomed, double height Como Suite, (a duplex located on the hotel’s top 11th floor), spaces are cool, calm and collected. Kathryn Kng’s interior design offers essentially a serene retreat with uncluttered, neutrally hued sleek rooms with wooden floors, Thai Makha wood, luxurious silk curtains, curated antiques and custom artwork by local artist Natee Utarit. Some rooms offer landscaped terraces with outdoor rain showers, others offer spaces that can be used for meetings or dining but showstoppers include the four duplex Penthouse Suites at 150 square metres of space, complete with a conservatory-style sitting room. Room amenities include all the toys we expect today – Nespresso machines, Bose Wave SouthTouch systems, Egyptian linen sheets, individually controlled climate control and more, much more including fresh fruit daily. 

For dining, eat at Nahm, a Michelin starred Thai restaurant open for lunch and dinner daily with dishes known for innovation incorporating ingredients from all over the country and a terrace overlooking the pool. Other options include Thai, Italian and comfort dishes from the room service menu and healthy Como Lunch Boxes with nutritious organic menus encompassing the brand’s COMO Shambhala Cuisine. When it comes to fitness, head to the 175 square metre gym with personal trainers on request and complimentary daily yoga classes (with yoga mats in every room).
