In the former central post and telegraph head office, right in the heart of Copenhagen, Nordic Choice Hotels is opening their new luxury and sustainable hotel.
Villa Copenhagen is a reflection of Copenhagen, as a city which praises sustainability, happiness, luxury and diversity. The hotel offers 390 guest rooms and suites, restaurants, bars, gym and wellness-centre, and conference rooms.
The hotel stands out through its commitment to sustainability, and incorporation of the UN’s sustainable development goals into its overall strategy. A great emphasis is on hiring employees with diverse backgrounds, CSR work in communities, and from the food to interior, always consider the impact on the planet.
All guest rooms showcase Scandinavian luxury and style at its best and has well-thought-out details. Nordic influences, such as high ceilings, herringbone floors, gold accents, original window design from 1912, and a marble bathroom with walk-in shower are intended to create incomparable luxurious comfort.
The restaurants will focus on minimising food waste and use organic products. Nordic cuisine is combined with the best gastronomic world, which reflects Copenhagen’s diversity. The Brassier, with its open kitchens and bar, will be the all-day dining restaurant, The Satchel Bar and The Playroom will be a cosy wine bar and restaurant.
The Courtyard will become a social hub and multifunctional place, where the reception, café, the garden and a pop-up shop is situated. In the hotel’s own garden, flowers will bloom, herbs grown, and local honey produced.
Another highlight is the 25-metre-long heated rooftop pool, where you can also enjoy a drink in the bar.
