I'm a SAS EB Gold member and I've been trying to contact them on the phone they advertise on their website (which very clearly says works until 1AM), but it just plays a message that the offices are now closed. Is this a joke? Why do they advertise a time when in reality is another? Or have they changes the numbers and forgot to update the website? Does anybody know the right number?

Is the phone number you're calling from the same number that's connected to your profile at SAS?

If you have any family members registered with the same phone number as you on their SAS profile, the system might be connecting your call to the wrong (non-gold) profile. I've found that hiding your caller id, or calling from an un-registered number works well in such cases. When SAS don't recognize the phone number it will allow you to enter the EuroBonus number as before.

But they did ask for my EB number, and I typed it correctly, and still got the message that they were closed afterwards. And tried a couple of times even!

Try doing as Trygve proposed.

When you're asked to enter the EB number the system hasn't automatically mapped you to a profile, which means that something else must have happened here. The phone is usually answered by someone outside of Scandinavia during late evenings. Could it be a US call center where they had Thanksgiving off?
