This spring, one of Stockholm’s finest hotels is opening an exciting new restaurant that will appeal to international gourmet seekers and locals alike.

Nobis Hotel Stockholm, located on Norrmalmstorg square in the heart of Stockholm’s high-end shopping district Östermalm, is getting ready to welcome innovative restaurant Noi.

Helmed by head chef Stefano Catenacci, renowned locally for his role as Chef des Cuisines at Stockholm’s Operakällaren, Noi offers a unique menu that draws on gastronomic influences from all over Europe.

Standout dishes include Kalix bleak roe with almond potato purée; fried shallots and almond potato chips; and spice-roasted duck breast with yellow beets, fried brussels sprouts and fig gravy. Dishes will be crafted from high-quality ingredients and with an emphasis on seasonality and freshness.

Set amongst an oasis of Scandinavian design, the new restaurant will attempt to express its sense of individuality alongside a uniquely Swedish brand of luxury. Aesthetically, this manifests itself as a low-lit subterranean space lined with circular booths upholstered with olive green leather, mosaic parquet, and walnut panelled walls.

The restaurant has been designed by the pre-eminent Swedish architect firm Wingårdhs Architects—the same team behind the Nobis group’s newest property, Nobis Hotel Copenhagen. Finer touches include leather from Tärnsjö and a black marble bar.

With its prime spot on the historic Norrmalmstorg Square and proximity to Nobis’ atmospheric Gold Bar, Noi is sure to be a hotspot in the Swedish capital.
