The JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, which first opened its doors a full two decades ago, has relaunched after a comprehensive year-long refurbishment.
The modern and cosmopolitan city of Kuala Lumpur is a vast melting pot of cultures and traditions, and this is reflected in the modernised 578-room JW Marriott.

Located right in the heart of Bukit Bintang, the city’s central business and entertainment district, the 5-star hotel’s update sees guests greeted by a new sleek lobby of cool grey Emperado marble that reflects the magnificent crystal chandelier of six linked sparkling rings hanging overhead.
Refreshed rooms and suites feature modern materials and polished chrome, while the generously sized bathrooms include a vanity counter, rainforest shower and a Japanese-inspired bathtub.

The hotel also now has nine brand new Cabana Poolside rooms on Level 6, just steps away from the pool and new pool bar.
Extensive meeting and function spaces have been boosted by the addition of the 300-seater Bayu Ballroom located by the poolside.

The hotel’s rebranded Starhill Spa Village offers a number of celebrated healing rituals, traditions and remedies of numerous cultures, resulting in a curated collection personalised treatment. Facilities at the spa include a 24-hour gym with comprehensive Technogym equipment, a steam room, sauna, whirlpool and a cool plunge pool.

Top your day off at the hotel’s well-regarded signature restaurant Shanghai – helmed by Shanghai-born Chef Wong Wing Yeuk – which has benefitted from a glamorous redesign and a brand new bar.
