British Airways at the launch of summer 2020 season plans to consolidate service at Tokyo, as the airline operates 2 daily London Heathrow – Tokyo Haneda service, instead of 1 daily each at Haneda and Narita. Service changes will commence on 29MAR20.

Coinciding with the move, the oneWorld carrier once again filed Airbus A350-1000XWB operation. From 01JUL20, BA005/006 will switch from 787-9 to A350-1000XWB.

Vet du om dom kommer att fortsätta trafikera T3 (nuvarande internationella) terminalen?



Hur kommer JAL att göra? ANA flyttar ju sina internationella flighter till T2 när alla terminaler kommer att hantera internationella flighter. Gör JAL samma sak till T1?

British Airways services (BA005/006) between London Heathrow (LHR) and Tokyo (NRT) will switch to Tokyo Haneda (HND) from 28th March 2020.



BA will operate twice daily to Haneda from the start of the Summer 2020 season, which is a more convenient airport for Central Tokyo and the Olympic Games area of the city. Better connections are also available on JAL out of Haneda to other Japanese cities.

An airport monorail link runs from Haneda Airport station to Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line, which provides convenient rail connections to the wider Tokyo Kanto area and the Shinkansen bullet train lines that operate from Tokyo Station. Customers will find this is a much easier way of getting to the new Olympic Stadium and the major tourist and business areas.

Schedules will be updated today for travel from 28March

Customers on BA005 from 28March and BA006 from 29March will have their original NRT sector cancelled (UN status) and a new HND sector added (TK status)

There is no change to the flight number

Email notification of the flight change will be sent through 15 Below
