Delta bagage allowance`?

In terms of contract lounge access for Delta flights, Delta has played that game of different treatment based on SkyTeam ElitePlus status program used when flying Delta. But such discrimination has not been an issue with luggage when flying Delta — at least not when I’ve been flying them as an AF/KL ElitePlus.

I was mistaken about the baggage. I went back and looked and saw that Delta did charge for a second checked bag on Delta “basic economy” tickets when checking a second bag in as AF Gold/Platinum. It was only the first checked bag that had the fee waived as AF Gold/Platinum on the Delta basic economy tickets at baggage check-in as AF Gold/Platinum. But the second bag was free on Delta basic economy ticket when using the Delta SkyTeam ElitePlus account at check-in. Changing the frequent flyer program after bag drop didn’t cause problems with the bags.
 
Jag sitter och kikar på en resa inrikes i USA om ca en månad och tycker att informationen om bagage som ingår är rätt otydlig på hemsidan. Är det alltså rätt tolkat att man även på billigaste basic eco får en incheckad gratis väska som Elite Plus?
