Icelandair starter ny rute Reykjavik-New York Newark
Det islandske selskapet Icelandair har allerede stor flytrafikk til den amerikanske østkysten, men likevel er de ikke helt fornøyd. Pr. 28 oktober 2013, økte dagens ni fly pr uke til 13, hvor nye fly vil bli utført på Newark flyplass. Newark (EWR) er den samme flyplassen som SAS bruker i dag.
Ni fly pr uke vil også fortsatt operere på den andre flyplassen New York JFK. Rutenummer og avgangstider for Newark flyreiser: FI623 Keflavik 1700 - 1800 Newark 75W x357 FI622 Newark 1955 - 0635 Keflavik 75W x357
