Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced the premiere destination for its new A350-900 - Amsterdam. Services are expected to start in April 2016 and additional A350 destinations are to be announced in the coming months.
Singapore Airlines has ordered 63 of the twin-aisle A350-900s, the first of which should be delivered to SIA in January next year when it will temporarily be put into service on selected flights to Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta for crew training purposes. Eleven aircraft are expected to be delivered within the first year of operations.

This includes new Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class seats, and the world’s most advanced in-flight entertainment system. Our investment in the A350s is in line with Singapore Airlines’ longstanding commitment to operate a young and modern fleet. The highly efficient new aircraft will offer us the potential to open new routes, enhancing our network and further strengthening the Singapore hub.” Singapore Airlines' first A350s will offer three classes on board - business class, premium economy and economy.
