As the summer timetable gradually comes into force from the end of March 2016, SAS customers can look forward to eight new short-haul routes, including Stockholm to Gdansk, and Copenhagen to Reykjavik, Vienna and Krakow. The new routes are aimed at both leisure and business travellers - for example, Krakow and Vienna are particularly popular holiday destinations, while Reykjavik and Gdansk are in demand destinations for both leisure and business purposes.
The summer 2016 timetable will also offer new flights to a number of sought-after holiday destinations during peak season. Over the Summer, SAS will fly from Stockholm to the Greek island of Mykonos - SAS' fifth destination in Greece, from Copenhagen to Faro in southern Portugal, from Århus, Denmark, to Palma de Mallorca, and from Stavanger, Norway, to Paris. “SAS has more destinations and departures than any other Scandinavian airline, and we are constantly improving our offering to customers. We know that our frequent travellers also prefer to fly with SAS when they go on vacation, so every summer we open new routes to popular vacation destinations,” says
CEO and Group President Rickard Gustafson.
In addition to the new routes, SAS will also strengthen its offerings to and from Oslo with an additional daily departure to five key business destinations. From April 2016, there will be double-daily flights to Aberdeen and Düsseldorf, to Brussels and Billund there will be three daily departures, and flights to Bodo will be increased from seven to eight daily departures.
