Radisson Blu has announced the launch of "BluPrint" - a new design concept for guest rooms, meeting rooms and public areas at Radisson Blu hotels worldwide.
“The intention behind BluPrint is two-fold. As guest behaviours and expectations continue to evolve, BluPrint allows for more multi-functional and flexible spaces resulting in an emotionally engaging and individual experience,” said Rose Anderson, vice president, Branding, Radisson Blu.
BluPrint guest room BluPrint aims to blend renowned design classics with distinctive, custom-made furniture, fabrics and textiles to provide guests with the optimal combination of functionality and tasteful design. Over the coming year, Radisson Blu will start implementing the new concept in guest rooms, meeting rooms and public areas at several of its hotels worldwide.
BluPrint guest room Radisson Blu opened the world’s first design hotel in 1960 - the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, today known as the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Copenhagen. The hotel was designed down to the smallest detail by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. Jacobsen designed, among other classics, the now-famous Egg and Swan chairs exclusively for the Royal Hotel, helping it to become recognised today as one of the most iconic design hotel in the world. Radisson Blu is now a global brand with nearly 300 hotels in more than 60 countries.
