Qatar Airways continues to invest in Scandinavia with two extra weekly departures to Oslo Gardermoen Airport from February 2. This means that travellers on the route between Doha and Oslo have a total of 9 weekly departures to choose from. The 787 Dreamliner will continue to be used, along with an Airbus A330.

The new departures are: Oslo - Doha, Tuesday and Saturday 14.55 - 23:25. Doha - Oslo, Friday and Saturday 8:15 - 12:10. From December 2, the airline also

increased services to Copenhagen and Stockholm

, with three additional departures to both destinations - totalling 14 flights per week to Copenhagen and 13 to Stockholm. The initiative provides passengers travelling to the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Africa with better connections to Qatar's network - destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore and the Maldives. All connections are via Hamad International Airport in Doha. “The fact that we offer even more departures from Oslo is another step in our growth plan for Scandinavia - having already increased capacity to Stockholm and Copenhagen. It is eight years since we began flying to Scandinavia, and it is a market which is important for Qatar Airways globally. The new departures from Oslo give us the opportunity to further promote Scandinavian tourist and business opportunities to other markets in our network,” says Christian Deresjö, Qatar Airways Country Manager Scandinavia, Finland and Baltic States.
