Qantas will work with Paris-based designer Martin Grant to develop new pyjamas for its business and first class passengers.
The airline’s signature grey cotton, long-sleeved pyjamas are set to be replaced in the first class cabins of Qantas' flagship Airbus A380 from the middle of next year.
Qantas' signature grey pyjamas Grant will also design a limited edition range of PJs for Qantas’ business class passengers, also expected to unveiled next year, however, the usual grey pyjamas will continue to be used on most flights. “Designing pyjamas is something completely different for me creatively, and knowing how loved the Qantas in-flight pyjamas are adds to the excitement,” Grant says regarding his first experience designing sleepwear. Grant also designed Qantas’ the ground staff uniforms, set to debut in 2016, and is consulting with the airline over redesigning its pilot’s uniforms.
