Plaza Premium and China Eastern have teamed up to open the world's first co-branded airport lounge. Located near gate 22 in Terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International, No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge is open to all travellers regardless of airline and class.
The 1,800 square metre lounge has seating for close to 500 guests, and offers a unique 180-degree view of the airport’s runway.
No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge - Seating The lounge aims to combine different cultures with its ‘East Meets West’ philosophy being realised via Plaza Premium’s sleek and modern design and China Eastern’s concept of “world-class hospitality with Eastern charm.” The lounge, which opened on November 2, includes a leisure area, buffet area, bar area, 5 internet workstations, nursing room, 3 shower rooms, relaxation area, honeycomb seating, smoking room and complimentary Wi-Fi - “providing travellers with a premier personalised experience of privacy and priority.”
No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge - Buffet area Along with Chinese and Western-style buffets, a chef will also entertain guests by preparing Shanghai and Hong Kong-style noodles at the live cooking station. Plaza Premium Group Founder and CEO Song Hoi-see commented: “Featuring a 180-degree airport runway view, the new No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge makes available a magnificent landscape to guests while offering them a wide selection of exquisite Chinese and Western style buffets throughout the day.”
No.77 China Eastern Plaza Premium Lounge Admission to the lounge costs ¥300 (£30) for two-hours, or ¥680 (£70) for up to five hours. Priority Pass members can also access the lounge for up to two hours at a time.
