New Plaza Premium Lounge opens at Singapore Changi Airport
On 30 June, Plaza Premium opened its new lounge at Singapore Changi Airport in the Departure Transit Hall of Terminal 1. The stylish lounge spans over 7000 square feet and has seating for 140 guests. The lounge is open to everyone, for a charge, regardless of airline or cabin class. Prices start at SGD 58 (£27.60) per person. This includes five hours in the lounge, food, drinks, free wifi and a shower.
Plaza Premium Lounge, Singapore Changi Terminal 1 The lounge offers pleasant views over the airport’s runway area through large panoramic windows. The decor in the lounge features earthly tones and wooden materials are used throughout in the details. A focus has been placed on the food and beverage offerings in the lounge. This is part of Plaza Premium’s strategy to provide a refined airport experience for its guests. This new lounge features “live cooking stations”, where guests can enjoy local dishes made to order. Options in the lounge’s all-day dining spread include signature dishes such as Singapore Laksa, classic Singapore Chicken Rice and The Green Market Temaki. Complimentary hot and chilled beverages are also available, whilst a separate bar area serves specialty coffees, juices, beers and wines.
Plaza Premium Lounge, Singapore Changi Terminal 1 The lounge is equipped with three private resting suites, six shower rooms with amenities, two VIP rooms, as well as a massage and treatment area. Free WiFi is available throughout the lounge, along with plenty of sockets.
