Meet the world's youngest gold member

She was born a week ago and is already an SAS EuroBonus Gold member. BusinessClass.co.uk meets Hilda Björnström, daughter of one of the founders of BusinessClass, who has already reached gold level.

Martin says that Hilda was an unexpected but long overdue birthday present. After the birth, he registered Hilda with SAS’s EuroBonus scheme, just like his older daughter, but also chose to nominate her for gold membership, a benefit that SAS EuroBonus Diamond Members have. A few days later the nomination was approved. We asked Martin why he chose to do this. - It is of great value when you have a little one with you on your trip. Since Hilda has a separate card, she will also receive benefits even when she travels alone with her mother - and grandparents, who live an hour's flight north, and south, respectively, from our home in Stockholm, says Martin. And of course she gets the gold benefits just like anyone else. - Gold membership allows Hilda to travel with more bags, gives her access to lounges around the world, and she will not have to queue at the security checkpoint, said Martin, who has had his own gold status for eight years. In the end, he can not help but smile and added - and yes, it is actually a bit of fun too. SAS also took note of the new member who had a birth date which, you could stay, stood out. - SAS called and congratulated me on the new addition. They told me that Hilda is by far the youngest EuroBonus Gold member ever, and probably also the youngest Star Alliance Gold member as well, said Martin. Nils Lindhe, Vice President of SAS’s EuroBonus, welcomed Hilda and wrote: - We at SAS EuroBonus are pleased that the program is attractive to people of all ages and we greet Hilda to the community with a warm welcome! We work continuously to provide attractive benefits for all our members and hope and believe that Hilda will come to appreciate them. BusinessClass editors congratulate the Björnström family on the new addition!
