The London Marriott Hotel County Hall will undergo a multi-million pound renovation over the coming months.
The 200-room hotel is located right next to Westminster Bridge and was previously the headquarters of the local government in London before becoming a hotel. The hotel’s redesign offers suites with views of Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, the River Thames and the London Eye. All suites include balconies, large bathrooms, lobbies with mosaic flooring and wallpaper in the style a historic map of London. Many of the newly-designed bedrooms and suites will be available this month, with the rest of the hotel expected to be completed by May 2016. Hotel facilities at the hotel include a health club and spa, a 25-metre pool, a number of dining options offering British cuisine and afternoon tea, and 13 event and meeting rooms.
