Hyatt Hotels will open Park Hyatt Mallorca in Spring next year. Located in Canyamel, along the quiet and undeveloped east coast of the Spanish island, the hotel will be the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Mallorca.

Overlooking the Canyamel valley, Park Hyatt Mallorca will be built in the style of a traditional Mallorquin hilltop village, whilst offering “world-class dining and superb wellness, leisure and spa facilities.” Not just a party-island overrun by young tourists, Mallorca’s agreeable climate also attracts plenty of golfers to its 23 courses. The Canyamel valley is far from the traditional tourist hotspots of Palma and the southwest, rather, it is home to four of the island’s 18-hole luxury golf courses - Canyamel Golf Club, Pula Golf Club, Capdepera Golf Club and Club de Golf de Son Servera -  all within 15 minutes from Park Hyatt Mallorca.

Canyamel Golf Course The 142-room, 16-suite luxury resort will also offer two restaurants, a lounge bar, poolside bar, separate beach club, Sp, fitness centre, and meetings and events space. Hotel guests will also have access to a nearby Beach Club and Country Club with additional recreational and sporting facilities. “Mallorca is one of Europe’s most beautiful areas, and we believe that Park Hyatt Mallorca will deliver an unprecedented level of luxury and an unrivalled hospitality experience for guests,” said Peter Norman, Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Development for EAME, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. “This hotel will be our ninth Park Hyatt branded hotel in the region and the first Park Hyatt resort to open in the Mediterranean, which underscores our commitment to thoughtful and meaningful growth throughout Europe.”
