Hilton has opened a luxurious new property in the UNESCO-listed Chinese town of Dali.
Hilton Dali Resort & Spa, Hilton's debut in Dali and its fourth property in the Yunnan province, is located halfway up Cangshan Mountain, facing Erhai Lake. The 375-room hotel is close to a number of local attractions, the shopping districts of Dali Ancient City, and is 23km from Dali Airport.
Guest room Each room has a private balcony where guests can enjoy scenic panoramic views, while guests in executive rooms and suites will be granted access to the Executive Lounge.
Executive Lounge The hotel offers a range of flexible meeting spaces, including the 1,100 square metre main Cangshan Ballroom, as well as courtyards and lush open areas.
The 1,100 sqm Cangshan Ballroom Guests at the hotel have three restaurants and two bars to choose from; Spices, an all-day restaurant serving authentic Yunnan and Western cuisine; La Bella Luna, a traditional Italian trattoria with a terrace overlooking the lake; Yuxi, a sophisticated Chinese restaurant, and Lobby Lounge and The Brew Bar offering a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Spices all-day restaurant There is also a large 24-hour fitness centre, a spa and sauna, indoor swimming pool, kids’ pool, a Kids’ Club, Mahjong rooms and a rooftop mini-golf course. To celebrate the hotel's opening, Hilton HHonors members who stay at the hotel between February 1, 2016 and March 31, 2016 will enjoy double HHonors points.
Indoor pool Hilton Worldwide currently has 64 hotels operating in Greater China, with another 80 in the pipeline. "We are well on our way to quadrupling our portfolio of operational hotels in China within the next few years and are proud to add Dali to the growing list of top destinations where we have established a presence," said Bruce McKenzie, senior vice president, operations, Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide.
