Harrods is bringing Dubai to London
London’s most famous upmarket department store, Harrods, is showcasing the glamorous world of Dubai this summer.
Emaar Properties, the developer behind such projects as the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall, is bringing a slice of Dubai to Knightsbridge, London, by launching and exhibiting its latest Dubai projects at Harrods until mid-August. The event, taking place on the second floor of Harrods, will allow visitors to experience interactive video displays and view large scale models of three of Emaar’s most exciting new developments; Dubai Creek Harbour, Dubai Hills Estate and The Opera District. There will also be information on Emaar and its other projects - such as Downtown Dubai, Arabian Ranches and Dubai Marina - whilst there is a sales team from Harrods Estates on hand to speak to visitors about the projects and the range of opportunities to purchase a new apartment, villa or penthouse-suite. Emaar will showcase a window display on the ground floor, which Harrods say will be seen by 75,000 people who pass by the store each day. One of the windows showcases a scale model of Dubai Opera, the country’s first multi-format theatre, with two others displaying the plans and visual imagery of The Opera District, whilst a fourth artistically depicts ballerinas performing on stage.
During the London exhibition, Emaar will be selling luxurious residential properties, including one-, two- and three-bedroom glass-fronted apartments and penthouses, starting at £184,135 (Dh986,311), as well as 14 highly exclusive luxury villas. Ahmad Al Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties said: “We are delighted to exclusively showcase our exciting new developments at the famous Harrods department store.
