Carlson Rezidor to open new hotel in Tallinn
On June 1st 2015, Meriton Grand Conference & Spa Hotel will become part of Carlson Rezidor, and will be assigned the named ‘Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Tallinn’. The hotel is located right in the centre of Tallinn, a stone's throw from the old town.
The hotel opened in 1963 but has been both expanded and renovated since then. In 1999 the hotel received an additional building and in 2007 the entire hotel underwent a complete renovation. Parts of the hotel will be further renovated during 2015/2016. The hotel will have 465 rooms and a large variety of bars and restaurants for those who are hungry or thirsty, including a bistro, which will be open throughout the day, a grill, a Russian restaurant, a cafe and two bars. For those who want to relax, they can make the most of Tallinn's largest spa and relaxation area, totalling 2800 square metres. The hotel also has 14 conference rooms. With this new hotel, Carlson Rezidor operate four hotels in Estonia with a total of 1380 rooms. T total in the Baltic now reaches 14 hotels with 3488 rooms. Carlson Rezidor has not yet released any images of how the hotel design will look like or which parts of the hotel will be renovated. The pictures show the hotel how it is today.
