Set in the fabulous spa town of Baden-Baden in Germany’s Black Forest, the five-star

Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa

is preparing to unveil a chic new urban dining experience in collaboration with bright young Swiss chef Nenad Mlinarevic

The innovative new concept will be a destination restaurant and bar for guests and locals alike, which target a younger audience looking to sample a multicultural food experience.

Inspired by the nature, history and the culture of the Black Forest - along with a throwback to the glamour of the 1920s - the style will be sophisticated yet refined and informal.

The restaurant is being overseen by culinary advisor Nenad Mlinarevic a creative young Swiss chef considered a rising star on the German and Swiss culinary scene. On-site, Sebastian Mattis will serve as Chef de cuisine.

The design concept has been created by Robert Angell - whose works include the famous Blue Bar at the Berkeley and the American Bar at the Savoy - as well as London-based Gorgeous Group. Together they have worked to create a “distinctive interior” with inspiration taken from the hotel’s spectacular Black Forest setting and Baden Baden’s glamorous past.

The restaurant and bar will offer laid-back fine dining and will be an experience for local and international clientele who value a modern, urban lifestyle, the hotel said.

The menu will be simple with seasonal small plates, sharing plates for the table and specialities from the grill. The wine list will have an extensive selection by the glass, handcrafted beer, speciality barrel-aged cocktails and a small but carefully curated selection of locally made vermouths and liqueurs.
