Hong-Kong based Cachet Hotel Group has announced plans to open a 52-room hotel at the new Zhejiang Circuit race track in Shaoxing, China.

Currently under construction in Shaoxing - known as the Oriental Venice due to its numerous canals and waterways - the Zhejiang Circuit will be a 'leading destination for race-car drivers, motorsport enthusiasts and a platform for automotive brands to debut their latest products'. The entire complex will feature a 3.3 km FIA Grade 2 racing track, multiple restaurants, a motorsport club, driving schools, shopping mall, multiple show rooms and, as now revealed, a boutique hotel.

Cachet Boutique Zhejiang Circuit The hotel, the Cachet Boutique Zhejiang Circuit, will open in late 2016. It will showcase a “West meets East” concept that pays homage to the region’s rich cultural heritage, enhanced by modernism, entertainment and innovation. The boutique hotel will also feature Chinese and steakhouse restaurants, a spa, swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms and fitness centre. “We are honoured to play a role in creating an exciting and new destination for China.
