On a cliff above Tanjong Beach in Singaore is one of Accorhotel’s newest properties. Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa has opened its doors after a year of extensive renovations.

The resort, which offers magnificent views over the South China Sea, has 211 rooms and suites, as well as four separate villas for those who desire even more privacy. Guests also have access to Sofitel’s biggest ‘So Spa’ facility in the world, offering 20 treatment rooms and a full 33-metre swimming pool.
Guest room A notable attraction of the ‘So Spa’ is a mud pool which is said to work wonders using volcanic mud from New Zealand. Dining options at the hotel include several restaurants and bars, many with beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding gardens. "We are delighted to open a new luxury resort hotel in Singapore and look forward to bringing Sofitel's renowned levels of culinary delights and hospitality to our guests," says Vincent Lelay, the hotel's GM. "The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa represents a significant step for Sofitel in further increasing its presence in Southeast Asia, and bringing French elegance and sophistication to the increasingly discerning travelers in this region."
