Air France says that 20% of all atheletes attending this Summer's Paris Olympics and Paralympics will be flying with them!
In its quest to be as visible as possible, from 27th July to 11th August there will be an 850 square-metre space at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris - where anyone can enjoy a gourmet dining experience “just like on board” - at the Air France restaurant.
Also, from 28th August to 8th September, a dedicated space at SPOT24 at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, will showcase the best of Air France - particularly its assistance service for customers with disabilities.
At the Air France restaurant, 3 Michelin-starred French masterchef Arnaud Lallement will serve dishes from an à la carte menu. It will boast a selection of meat, poultry, fish or vegetarian options. The menu will feature desserts by the award-winning Nina Métayer.
A selection of wines, Champagnes and a wide choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be on offer. With an appetiser, starter, main dish, a cheese selection and dessert, each “French-style” meal will be served in tableware specially created for Air France by designer Jean-Marie Massaud, in a setting similar to that on board the plane, integrating the airline’s Business Class meal tray.
