British Airways is enhancing its cuisine and beverage offerings at eight of its premium lounges located in US airports, including San Francisco, Chicago O'Hare, Philadelphia, Washington Dulles, Baltimore/Washington, Seattle-Tacoma, Newark Liberty, and Boston Logan.
The airline's US hospitality partner Sodexo Live! plans to introduce new food and drink menus in the upcoming months, which will include British favourites including Twinings tea and city-specific epicurean delights sourced locally.
Additionally, the company will renew its focus on traditional snack items to reflect British and Indian influences and offer more nutritious alternatives to traditional airport fare. British Airways has expressed excitement about reimagining the dining experience in eight American gateways and providing customers with new, unique dishes that reflect local cuisine and provenance.
Highlights include:
Buffets: Dishes including the Substantial Salad and other cold offerings focus on seasonality and mindful eating.
Club Dining: Comfort food items that also incorporate local cuisine of the respective cities. Club dining encourages guests to sit back and relax with a thoughtful, chef-driven meal before taking flight.
First Class Dining: Passengers can take their lounge experience to new heights by indulging in a premium hospitality experience that features sophisticated dining with a cross-section of European influences and local favorites.
